Kershaw County, SC – AT&T recently awarded a $50,000 Utility Tax Credit check to Kershaw County to help fund the extension of an interior road at Steeplechase Industrial Park. A ceremonial check presentation was held during the December 13th County Council Meeting where Ike Byrd, AT&T Regional Director of External Affairs, presented the check to Kershaw County Council and County Economic Development Director Peggy McLean. The Steeplechase Industrial Park Road Extension Project is one of several projects included in the $17 million economic development product improvement plan approved by County Council in 2015.

A “Class A” industrial park, Steeplechase is a South Carolina Department of Commerce Certified Site, Duke Energy Food & Beverage Certified Site, and AT&T Fiber Ready Certified Site.
