Kershaw County, SC – Ernest Health, a national specialty healthcare provider, is establishing a new rehabilitation hospital in Kershaw County within the Wateree Executive Park located in Elgin, South Carolina. The $17.56 million investment will create 114 jobs with the average wage of $25.61 per hour.
“It’s a great day in Kershaw County as we welcome Ernest Health to our community,” stated Kershaw County Council Chairman Julian Burns. “This is truly a win-win scenario as we are adding 114 new jobs to our county while expanding our local healthcare services at the same time.”
The 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital will be located in The Wateree Executive Park and is expected to open in August 2020. It will be managed by Vibra Healthcare Management, LLC, an affiliate of Vibra Healthcare, LLC, a national specialty healthcare provider. “We are truly excited about this new project in Kershaw County, as we continue to grow our footprint in rehabilitative services across the country,” stated Jake Socha, Ernest Health Division President. “The Elgin hospital not only promises to bring new jobs to the area, but allows for the county and surrounding communities to experience the world-class care and therapy services that we are known for.”
